About AI BIZ GATE

AI BIZ GATE publishes enterprise local ai, private rag & compliance benchmarks for teams that need to keep sensitive data on infrastructure they control.

Who runs this site

AI BIZ GATE is an independent publication. It is not owned by, or affiliated with, any GPU vendor, model lab, cloud provider or software company we write about. Our readers are engineers and buyers in tax, legal and healthcare organizations who have to decide what hardware to buy and which tools are safe to put in front of regulated data.

How our numbers are produced

We separate estimates from measurements and label every figure as one or the other.

  • VRAM and throughput estimates. The VRAM calculator in our guides and the speed figures in our compliance workflow directory come from published formulas, not from a test bench. Memory is model weights (parameters × bits per weight) plus an FP16 KV cache sized from each model's published architecture, plus 1 GB of runtime overhead. Decode speed is the GPU's memory bandwidth divided by the bytes read per token, at 70% efficiency for dense models and 35% for mixture-of-experts models. Treat these as sizing guidance: real throughput depends on your runtime, drivers, batch size and prompt length.
  • Measured benchmarks. We do not run an in-house hardware lab yet, so no figure on this site is presented as a lab measurement today. Where an article describes a test harness, such as document extraction accuracy on financial tables, results are marked pending until the test has actually been run. When we publish measured results, each one will name the exact GPU, driver, inference runtime and version, model revision, quantization and test date.
  • Keyword difficulty (KD). The KD score on each guide is an editorial estimate of how hard the topic is to rank for, entered by hand. It is not a live figure from Ahrefs, Semrush or a similar tool.

How often figures are updated

Estimates are recalculated on every build of this site, and the build fails if a published figure no longer matches the formula. New models, quantization formats and GPUs go through the same formulas. Measured results will carry their test date and software versions, and we will re-run them when a new runtime or model release changes them materially, with a note on what changed.

Editorial independence and how we make money

The site earns money in two ways, and neither decides what we recommend.

  • Affiliate links. Some links to GPU cloud and retrieval (RAG) platforms are affiliate links, marked as sponsored. If you sign up through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
  • Architecture reviews. Some pages offer a paid architecture or compliance review. That is our own service, so treat it as the commercial offer it is.

There is no paid placement. Vendors cannot pay for coverage, placement or a better result, and whether a product has an affiliate program has no bearing on the formulas, the scoring rubric or our recommendations.

The SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR and EU AI Act labels across this site name the frameworks our architectures are designed to support. AI BIZ GATE is not itself certified, attested or audited against them, and we do not issue certifications.

Nothing here is legal, tax or compliance advice. No tool is HIPAA, SOC 2 or GDPR compliant on its own: compliance depends on how you deploy, configure and govern it. Check your obligations with a qualified professional.
